He loves the freedom that he feels while skating. He really feels like he gets to express and be himself when he's on the ice. He also enjoys the friendships that he has discovered in the skating community, and the special bond that he is forming with all his coaches. His quick advancement as a skater, and the successes he has already experienced is a positive as well.
On the ice, he is inspired by Yuzuru Hanyu. Aiden strives to be the skater that Yuzuru was, because like himself, Yuzuru skated for the love of skating and the freedom to be himself. Off the ice, Aiden is inspired by the love and support of his family and coaches. They continue to be his biggest fans and supporters, and allow him to be collaborative in the direction of his art.
It is difficult to nail down just one moment, but watching him perform his Emotional Freeskate at State Games of America was truly inspiring as he freely expressed and drew you into his performance and showed everyone the passion in his skating.
