What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Football brings out a side of him that is full of excitement, energy, and determination. He loves the feeling of stepping onto the field, competing, making plays, and giving his best effort from start to finish. He enjoys being part of a team and the challenge of learning something new every day. Most importantly, he truly loves the game. Even after a long day at school and two hours of practice, he looks forward to football and is always ready to work harder, improve, and become a better player

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His biggest inspirations are his family, especially the people who show up for him every day. His mom,aunty and his god mother (mama) encourage him to work hard, stay humble, and never give up when things get challenging. His coaches also inspire him by teaching him discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Seeing the support from his family in the stands motivates him to give his best every practice and game. He wants to make them proud while becoming the best athlete and person he can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest was watching him compete in his flag football championship and seeing his team come out on top. After all the hard work, and dedication he put into the season, watching him celebrate that championship win was such a special moment.
