What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreAlbert loves the competition, being part of a team, and the feeling of making a big play when his teammates need him. He loves challenging himself, learning new things, and being able to play multiple positions. Most of all, he loves being on the field with his teammates, having fun, and making memories.
Albert is inspired by his family, especially his dad, who he carries with him every time he steps onto the field. His dad’s memory reminds him to work hard, stay strong, and never give up. He is also inspired by his coaches and teammates who push him to be a better player and teammate. Albert wants to make the people who believe in him proud.
I’m proudest of watching Albert grow from a young player into a confident leader. Winning the 2026 AA Championship as a team captain was an incredible moment, but what made me most proud was seeing how he encouraged his teammates, stayed focused, and continued to give his best no matter what was happening in the game. Watching him lead by example and celebrate his teammates made me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
