What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My son loves the competitive of sports. He likes to prove himself he’s capable of doing anything. Nothing holds him back. He does regular training off season so when he’s ready to hit the pitch or the court he’s got the stamina and strength to play on.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Derek Henry and Steph curry are his favorite athletes. He looks up to Nick Saban and fully respects him as a coach.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When he was playing middle school football and begged to the coach to put him in as wide receiver. The coach always laughed at him, he never thought he was serious. He was one of kickers for the team. But during the championship game they put him in as receiver. He was smiling so big and was so happy just be in that position. I’ll never forget that moment. I could see that 7 year old that was told he may never play sports in his late adolescence due to AS and he was going to prove everyone wrong
