What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Alessandro loves the skills he gains at every practice or class. He works hard at every practice, even when he feels defeated.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He has me (his mom), grandparents, aunts and uncles that cheer him on at every game. His dream is to be a professional baseball player one day.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moments are when his team loses a game, but he doesn’t let get to him. He thinks about what mistakes were made and how he can improve in the next game.
