What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

For Alex, shooting clays in the SCTP is about much more than breaking targets. What he loves most is the deep sense of comradeship and the lifelong friendships he’s built along the way. Whether soaking up the outdoors on the range or traveling to new cities for competition, every shoot feels like an adventure with his teammates. Being outside, hitting the road, and sharing the thrill of the sport together make every moment behind the barrel unforgettable.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Alex is inspired by two key figures in his life: His Father, a Sheriff’s Department firearm instructor who has brought him to the range for as long as he can remember. Seeing his dad’s determination to get things done pushes Alex to grind it out and never give up. His Grandpa, who sparked his passion in the family hay field. Before Alex was even big enough to shoot a shotgun, he was pulling clays for him and listening to his old hunting stories, instilling a deep love for the sport.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest isn't a trophy or a high score, but seeing how Alex lifts up his teammates. He naturally shares his knowledge, offering helpful pointers on the line without ever being overbearing. Watching him encourage others, share his love for the sport, and make sure everyone is having a great time shows true leadership and character. For Alex, success isn't just about his own shooting—it's about helping his teammates enjoy every moment of the game together.
