Learn MoreI love that cheer is built on trust, teamwork, and pushing yourself to be better every day. There’s no feeling like accomplishing something with your teammates after months of hard work. Cheer has given me confidence, lifelong friendships, and a place where I truly belong. Every practice challenges me physically and mentally, and every performance reminds me why I love the sport.
My biggest inspiration is my mom. Through every challenge, she has supported me, encouraged me to keep going, and reminded me to believe in myself. She has shown me the importance of resilience, hard work, and kindness. Watching her handle life’s obstacles with strength motivates me to give my best in cheer, school, and everything I do.
The moment I’m proudest of was finding all-star cheer after being bullied into quitting the sport when I was younger. Walking into a new gym where everyone welcomed me with open arms changed my life. Instead of letting my past define me, I found a team that believed in me, rebuilt my confidence, and reminded me why I fell in love with cheer in the first place. That experience taught me resilience and showed me the power of belonging.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
