What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing soccer is that it has taught me more than just about the sport itself. It has taught me teamwork, communication skills, the importance of hard work, and how to be mentally strong in the face of adversity. Soccer has led me to have countless memories and quality friendships both on and off the field, and it has shaped me into who I am today not just as a player, but as a person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The most inspiring person in my life is my best friend, Collins. She has inspired me not just through words, but by being a leader and setting an example for everyone around her. When I first met her on the soccer field two years ago, she stood out as a leader. She is putting in extra work when nobody else does and has always pushed me to be better. She never fails to inspire me as both a player and a friend, and being friends with her has been a huge part of the player I am.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m incredibly proud of Alexa. She’s always been the smallest on the field, but she’s never let her size define her. Her heart, toughness, and determination have always been bigger than any challenge in front of her. Watching years of hard work pay off as she became the first player in her 2027 class to commit to play college soccer is a moment I’ll never forget. She’s proven that it’s not about how big you are—it’s about how big you play and how badly you want it.
