The competition, being part of a team, the adrenaline of game day, improving their skills, and the feeling of pushing themselves to see what they can accomplish.
Alex’s biggest inspiration, both on and off the field, is his dad. He used to play football, so he understands the game and what it takes to compete. He inspires him to work hard, stay disciplined, never give up, and always believe in himself . More than anything, he shows him how to be a good person and a strong man, not just a good football player.
Football has taught him that you have to work hard, stay focused, and never give up. Right now, he is dealing with a fractured jaw, and not being able to play is difficult. But we know this is only a setback, not the end of his journey. We are very proud of how far he’s come, and I’m going to keep working, stay positive, and come back stronger.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
