What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreAlex loves the brotherhood that comes with football. He loves competing, pushing himself to get better, and knowing that every player has a job to do for the team to succeed. Whether he’s carrying the ball, blocking, or doing the little things that don’t always get noticed, he loves being part of something bigger than himself.
Alex is inspired by the people who push him to be better; his coaches, teammates, and family. He respects people who work hard, stay humble, and keep going when things get difficult. He’s learned that success isn’t just about talent; it’s about discipline, effort, and how you respond when things don’t go your way.
One of my proudest moments has been watching Alex embrace a new role on his team. After playing running back, he moved to H-back and accepted the challenge without making it about himself. He learned a new position, kept working, and focused on what his team needed from him. As his mom, seeing that growth, selflessness, and determination makes me prouder than any touchdown ever could.
