My child is the Youth Athlete of the Year because he is a leader on and off of the field. He gives 100% every practice and game.

My inspiration started with my older brother, Christopher. Christopher also excelled in three sports. Christopher guided, instructed, and continues to mentor me in sports and life.
Alfonso has never backed down from a challenge. One of many of my proud moments in his athletic journey happened last year (2025). "Gonzalez-Turner, also an offensive lineman for Eastern’s football team, weighed in at 234 pounds for the division that allows up to 285. He won the tournament the day before his 16th birthday" (Bob Sutton, AlamanceNews.com).
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
