What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Every time I step onto the floor I am filled with gratitude for everything. Dance continuously gives me. What I love most is How it pushes my limits, helping me overcome hard times by turning intense emotion into strength. Beyond movement, I love the studio family in the Dance community. In general, my teachers inspire me my teammates lift me up through every hard practice dance shaped me who I am today give me resilience, community and confidence.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My heart is so full whenever I think about the graduated dancers from our studio, especially one who set the ultimate example for everyone. Her work ethic is absolutely incredible. She always pushed herself to the absolute limit and demanding excellence from every movement! Back when we shared the stage, she Constantly poured the same energy into me, lifting me up and pushing me to be the absolute best dancer I could! Now she’s coming back to teach me! I’m so grateful for the power of example.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment Alicia steps on that stage, everything else disappears. She is brave, strong, fearless, and completely herself. You can see how much she truly loves what she does!
