What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Alistair loves competing, but what he loves most is being part of a team. He loves the excitement of making a big play, getting a hit, scoring, and helping his teammates succeed. Whether it is baseball, basketball, or soccer, he plays with energy and gives everything he has. He is constantly practicing and asking how he can get better. For him, sports are not just about winning. They are where he feels confident, challenged, and connected to his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Alistair is inspired by great athletes, but also by the coaches and people around him who teach him that talent only takes you so far. He looks up to people who work hard, stay humble, and keep going when things are difficult. He wants to be the kid his teammates can count on. What inspires him most is seeing that hard work actually pays off, whether that means improving at a sport, learning something difficult, or becoming a better teammate.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments has not been a single hit, goal, or win. It has been watching Alistair become a leader. I have watched him encourage teammates after mistakes, celebrate their success, and keep competing when things do not go his way. He has learned that being a great athlete is about more than being talented. It is about effort, attitude, resilience, and how you treat the people beside you.
