What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Aliza loves the challenge that comes with competing and the opportunity to keep learning and improving. As a multi-sport athlete, she enjoys trying new things, developing new skills, and pushing herself outside of her comfort zone. She also loves being part of a team, encouraging her teammates, making new friends, and celebrating successes together. For her, sports are about growth, teamwork, and having fun.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Aliza is inspired by people who work hard, lead by example, and never stop pursuing their goals. One of her biggest inspirations is Claire Hutton, a professional soccer player from her hometown. Seeing someone from her own community succeed at the highest level has shown her that big dreams are possible. She is also inspired by her coaches, teammates, and family, who encourage her to keep learning, work hard, and always be a supportive teammate.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that made us the proudest was completely unexpected. During a summer scrimmage, Aliza was simply out on the field doing what she loves. Her effort, skill, and determination caught the attention of two coaches, who approached us afterward and invited her to join the Pre-ECNL team. It wasn’t just the invitation that made us proud—it was seeing that her hard work, dedication, and love of the game were recognized without her even knowing she was being evaluated.
