What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves playing basketball, softball, volleyball, and track because each sport challenges her in a different way. She enjoys competing, improving her skills, pushing herself to be better, and making new friendships. She also loves being apart of a team and encouraging her teammates to play hard and never give up. Basketball gives her a chance to challenge herself and see how much she can improve. Most of all, she loves the excitement, teamwork, dedication, and confidence that sports bring her.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her older brothers inspire her because they always encourage her to work hard and never give up. They have taught her to stay focused and to always believe in herself. WNBA players also inspire her because of their dedication, confidence, and love for the game. Watching them compete motivates her to keep improving in basketball and all her other sports. They remind her that with hard work and determination, she can achieve and reach any and all of her goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest is seeing her continue to push through challenges and never give up, even when things get tough. Watching her grow from a 4-year-old who simply loved basketball into a confident athlete and three-time MVP has been incredible. Her dedication, heart, and determination remind me that her biggest victory isn’t just the championships—it’s the person she is becoming.
