What Amalia loves most about soccer is the feeling of being part of a team and competing together toward a common goal. She loves the challenge of improving every day, learning from every game, and pushing herself beyond what she thought was possible. Most of all, she loves the moment she steps onto the field and knows she can make a difference for her team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Amalia is inspired by her family, especially her mother, who has supported her throughout every step of her soccer journey. She is also inspired by athletes who demonstrate discipline, humility, resilience, and dedication. Their example reminds her that talent is only part of the journey—the commitment to keep learning, working, and believing in yourself is what creates lasting success.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest is not one specific game or accomplishment, but watching Amalia give her best every day to become a better person and player. Joining ECEDAO meant moving away from her family and living in the residence to pursue her dream of becoming a professional soccer player. Despite the sacrifices, she continues to work hard, grow, and contribute to her team at every tournament. Watching her choose discipline, perseverance, and her dreams every day makes me proud.
