What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about playing sports is the feeling of pushing himself to be better, competing, and being part of a team. Sports have taught him discipline, determination, teamwork, and how to keep going even when things get difficult. He loves the challenge of seeing what he is capable of and knowing that his hard work can make a difference both on and off the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire him most are his family, especially his mother, who has always encouraged him to work hard, believe in himself, and never give up. On the field, he is inspired by the coaches and teammates who challenge him to become a better athlete and a better person. Off the field, his family inspires him to stay focused, stay humble, and continue working toward his goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest is seeing how he has grown, not just as an athlete, but as a young man. Watching him face challenges, push through moments when things were difficult, and continue to show up and give his best has meant more to me than any trophy or victory ever could. I am most proud when I see him encourage his teammates, listen to his coaches, and hold himself accountable. Those are the moments that remind me that sports are helping shape him into an amazing young man.
