He loves challenging himself, improving his skills, and the feeling of working hard and seeing it pay off. Most of all, he loves the game of basketball and the confidence and joy it brings him.
Amari is inspired by his family, coaches, and the basketball players he looks up to. They motivate him to work hard, stay focused, believe in himself, and never give up. He wants to continue improving and become the best basketball player he can be while making the people who support him proud.
One of the moments that makes me proudest is seeing how far Amari has come since starting basketball at just three years old. He has played at high-level basketball camps, been introduced to NBA coaches, and was ranked #15 in the country at a prestigious Top 25 camp. Watching his hard work and talent be recognized at such a high level makes me incredibly proud.
