My daughter is youth athlete of the year because of her perseverance and determination. She is very humble, a leader, and holds a 4.5 GPA.

Join the CompetitionThe thing my athlete loves most about playing her sport is getting to meet new people. She has truly enjoyed the friendships she has made through her volleyball journey. She also enjoys the competitiveness. She likes being challenged and setting new goals for herself. Playing volleyball has given her the ability to learn life skills that she will carry with her into adulthood.
Jesus is her inspiration on and off the court. She knows that without Him nothing that she accomplishes would be possible. He is her strength when she is excelling and He is her strength when she has bad moments. Following His example allows her to be a good leader to those around her and to encourage others the same way He encourages her.
One of the moments in her athletic journey that makes me the proudest is how she fought back from an ankle injury in a short time to be able to show up for her team. The dedication she had to therapy and how she pushed past her pain to heal was amazing to watch. Her perseverance is very admirable.
