What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Amir love most is the feeling he gets when he I step onto that field. It reminds him of how far he has come. He love competing, being there for his teammates, and knowing that every practice and every game is an opportunity to become better than he was yesterday. 🖤

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire Amir the most is his family, especially me his mom. I have always believed in him, supported him, and reminded him to keep going even when things got hard. Watching me work hard and sacrifice for our family has taught him what strength, determination. His teammates and Coaches also inspire him. The people who inspire him have shown him that being a great athlete isn’t just about what you accomplish on the field. It’s about the person you become along the way. 🎯💪🏾🙏🏾

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I am proud of every accomplishment he has made on the field, but I am even prouder of the strength, resilience, and character he has shown through the challenges. Watching him overcome something that could have broken his spirit and continue pursuing the game he loves is, without a doubt, one of the proudest moments of my life as his mom. To me, Amir’s greatest victory isn’t just returning to football. It’s knowing that when life knocked him down, he found the strength to get back up. 🥹💪🏾🥰
