What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing softball is the feeling of being part of a team and working together toward the same goal. I love the excitement of competing, making a good play, getting a hit, or helping my teammates succeed. Softball has taught me to work hard, stay positive, and not give up when things don’t go my way. I also love how every game is different and gives me another chance to improve. Most of all, I love the memories I make with my teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire me the most are my coaches and my mom. They always encourage me to work hard, stay positive, and never give up, even when things get difficult. On the field, they push me to become a better athlete and remind me that mistakes are part of getting better. Off the field, they teach me to be responsible, respectful, and hardworking. They have shown me that success comes from dedication and effort, and that inspires me to give my best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The one moment that makes me the proudest is when I started to understand my mistakes and knew what I needed to do so I could fix them without specific direction. For example, when I was learning hitting techniques, it was difficult to fix my swing because I didn't understand what I was doing wrong. But once I learned the right techniques or what felt off, it made a huge difference in how I made adjustments to be a better hitter during games. That same knowledge helps in all areas of the game.
