She is inspired by the love, joy and dedication of her very first summer club coach Mike Schiavo who is truly devoted to the sport of swimming. She is also inspired by her hall of fame coach James Ellis who trains her for not only swimming but also for life. Forever grateful !
When she swam at the Centroamerican games at age 15 racing against fully developed athletes of college and beyond college age and was still able to make A finals in all her events and finished top 10 in all Centroamerica. She conducted herself with pride and kindness captivating the eye of the public.
