What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Andrew likes the fact he gets to socialize with junior golfers of all ages. Loves the fact he gets to give back, by introducing younger golfers to the game. Enjoys the opportunity to meet and greet people on the course from professional to blue collar workers. He especially loves that he gets to talk to seniors and listen to their stories of life. All because he is out there enjoying his time while practicing and or playing golf.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires me on and off the golf course is my dad. He is the hardest-working person I know, and he always puts my family and me first. He has taught me to work hard, be patient, and care for others. Seeing everything my dad does for our family makes me want to work harder every day to become a better person and a better golfer. I want to have a future where I can give back to him and take care of him the way he has always taken care of me. He has given up a lot to help me succeed.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When Andrew began to play golf, at 13. He immediately fell in love with golf, he did not know where it was going to take him. All he knew was that he would work very hard, and let it take him where it did. In his junior year he was told his high school team would not be competing anymore for his senior year. Fortunate for him he was given the opportunity to compete his senior year and they won the SS CIF championship and he was their leading scorer. He never gave up. Proud moment.
