I believe I do as his mother. It’s just always been us in the household. I show him the very of working and showing up for yourself. The fact that I’m a full-time mom, work at a governmental job full-time and a full-time student at university of Richmond. I never missed a game since he was three, and with all going on I still show up and do my part as a parent with no excuses.
The moment that made me proudest was when my son earned his position on the team. He was nervous because he was the new kid, and everyone else had already been there. He knew he had to work harder to prove himself. He went to every practice, gave his all, and never gave up. Watching his hard work and determination pay off made me extremely proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
