On the court Annika has always been inspired by Dennis Rodman because of his amazing rebounding and aggressive play style, and how he does whatever it takes for the team. Her coach DT inspires her on and off the court because of his character and constant support and belief in her.
There was one time in a game that got very aggressive. The ref did not blow the whistle, but one of her teammates was taken down to the floor by an opposing team player. The game kept going, but Annika ran to her and literally picked her up and brought her back into the game and then scored.
