Anthony lives for baseball. He plays, coaches a younger team, umpires, & studies the game. His leadership on the field is second to none!
Thank you for supporting Anthony in this competition. Your participation made a huge impact for the Why Not You Foundation and their mission to empower change in the world, one individual at a time and one child at a time.
What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreThe impact the game of baseball has on your life. It teaches you how to handle failure, because baseball is known as “the game of failure”. It also teaches you that even if everything is going perfectly, one small thing can change everything super quickly. He loves how baseball brings people together. Whether it’s fans watching the game, or teammates building relationships that last a lifetime.
His dad. He has coached varsity baseball for 25 years and has been by his side his whole life. Anthony was able to be in the dugout for the first time with his dads’ team when he was 3 years old. Now, he is going into his junior year and is getting to play for his dad!
My favorite thing is how unselfish he is on and off the field. Overtime, he has given credit to everyone else before saying anything about his performance. He has taken his talents to the younger generation and teaches them all about the game. He has had many impressive performances and when asked about them, he always makes sure to show that his teammates were the biggest part of his success because without them, his moment wouldn’t have happened.
