Me his mom, I've inspired him both on and off the field by encouraging him to work hard, stay focused, and never give up. He knows that no matter the outcome of the game, I'll always be his biggest fan, supporting him with love, pride, and encouragement.
One of my proudest moments as Anthony's mom was watching him choose teamwork over personal recognition. He had the ability to score the touchdown, but instead, he blocked for his teammate, encouraged him, and helped him reach the end zone. Seeing Anthony celebrate someone else's success with the same excitement as his own showed his character, selflessness, and leadership. That moment reminded me that true greatness isn't just about making the big play—it's about lifting others up and helping.
