He thrives on the energy of the game, the discipline it demands, and the responsibility of leading his team. Football pushes him mentally and physically, and he embraces the challenge, knowing every play is a chance to make an impact
His grandfather inspires him by showing what consistency, discipline, and ownership look like every day. As a successful Atlanta welding business owner for over 30 years, he’s taught him the value of hard work, accountability, and financial literacy. From coaching him in little league to supporting him now, he’s always been present. That example drives him to lead, stay focused, and give his all—on and off the field.
The moment that makes me most proud is when he transitioned from DE to LB after his sophomore year. Instead of getting comfortable, he pushed himself to grow. He found a personal trainer and focused on improving his speed and agility to match his new role. He even joined the track team to take it further. That experience showed me what he’s capable of when he commits, adapt, and put in the work
