What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

AJ loves the brotherhood, competition, and the opportunity to glorify God through football. He enjoys pushing himself to improve every day, encouraging his teammates, and making big plays when his team needs him most. Football has taught him discipline, leadership, resilience, and confidence. More than winning, he loves building lifelong friendships and becoming the best version of himself on and off the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

AJ is inspired first by his great grandfather Herbert Scott, whose example teaches him to lead with humility, love, and integrity. He is also inspired by his parents, who encourage him to work hard, stay disciplined, and never let success change his character. He admires athletes who lead by example, put in the work when no one is watching, and use their platform to make a positive impact on others.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The proudest moment hasn’t been a touchdown or an award, it has been watching AJ grow into a leader. Whether encouraging a teammate after a tough play, staying late to improve his skills, or trusting God through challenges, he consistently chooses character over recognition. Seeing him earn respect through his work ethic, humility, and leadership has been far more meaningful than any trophy.
