What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreShe love hockey for a lot of reason but making friends is what she love the most about it. Every team you play you make new friends and those new friends you end up playing against at some point along the way. Those friendship turn into something special and family bond on and off ice.
She love Sydney Crosby and admire everything about him. She think his leadership and sportsmanship not only helps her to enjoy the game that she love but learn how to be a better player and teammate. In a way he inspire her to do better and be better on and off ice whether is learning from teammates/coaches and never take anything for granted.
Aria has never shy away from cheering her team on. My most proudest moment of her that she play through a tournament while she was so sick. To a point I told her that she can skip the tournament and stay home to get better. Instead of staying home she made me drive her an hour to the tournament only for her to cheer for her team. Sportsmanship for has always been part of her but to be sick and still managed to cheer on your team from the sideline is something I’m very proud of.
