What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreShe loves the teamwork and the relationships she builds through sports. She enjoys learning how to understand and work with different teammates, encouraging others, and being part of something bigger than her success. For her, sports are about more than winning, they are about growing together, supporting one another, and celebrating each other’s successes.
Her brothers inspire her because they have all played soccer and helped shape her love for the game. Watching them taught her the importance of working hard, learning from mistakes, staying determined, and always striving to be the best version of herself. They have been role models for her both on and off the field.
In Ariella's gr9 year she made the varsity soccer team as a starter. Making the varsity soccer team as a gr9 student was a huge accomplishment, but earning a starting position made it even more meaningful. She was competing against older and more experienced players, yet her hard work, skill, and confidence earned her a place on the starting lineup. Her team travelled out of the country to train internationally in Greece. That showed her that dedication and believing in herself goes a long way.
