What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing basketball is that it constantly challenges me to become a better athlete, teammate, and person. I love the competitiveness of the game, the energy on the court, and the feeling of working with my teammates toward a common goal. Every practice and game gives me an opportunity to learn, improve, and push myself to a higher level. Basketball has taught me that success is about more than just talent or winning.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires me most is Stephen Curry. I admire not only his incredible basketball ability, but also his work ethic, confidence, leadership, and determination. He has shown that you do not have to fit the traditional image of an athlete to succeed—you can create your own path by believing in yourself and putting in the work.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes us the proudest is seeing our child become an All-State athlete. It is a reflection of the dedication, hard work, and commitment he has shown throughout his basketball journey. We have watched him put in countless hours of practice, overcome challenges, and continue to push himself to become better. Being an All-State athlete is an incredible accomplishment, but what makes us even prouder is the person he has became along the way disciplined, humble, and commited.
