As a Dad, waking up to see him in the shop batting cage before school, waking up wondering where he is, as he jogs back up the driveway after a morning run, waking up to the blender making a healthy protein shake before school. But most of all, as we speak, scrubbing out all the dirt and grass stains from his uniform, as he plays the game (all sports but baseball this time of year) the way the game is supposed to be played, smart, hard and dirty!
