Join the CompetitionAshley loves the lesson she learns after each match. After every match Ashley loves how no matter a win or a loss she still is very proud of herself for getting on the mat. She likes how much adrenaline wrestling gives her and how free she feels while dancing. She also likes the “breeze of air” she gets before every tournament and dance show. Ashley instantly learns to love each and every one of her sports, and becomes determined to improve.
Ashley’s twin sister, Katie inspires her off and on the field. Katie is also a wrestler but has had to take a break from wrestling and dance multiple times due to injuries and rheumatic arthritis. Due to this Ashley always tries to win for both her and her sister. Katie is also constantly pushing Ashley to be better. They have both helped each other to recieve most improved in TCHS girls wrestling.
Ashley has participated in multiple sports; wrestling, dance, acrobatics, and figure skating. Out of all of these sports Ashley has made me the most proud in wrestling; She has shown me how determined she is to get better despite any challenges. In the girls district 8 of NJ Ashley had the option to either go two weight classes up (124-138) or not wrestle at all, she instantly took that spot knowing the disadvantages in weight and strength but she punched her way to regionals by taking 4th in GD8
