Join the CompetitionMy favorite thing about playing sports is getting to have fun with my friends and teammates. I love trying my best, making plays, and hearing everyone cheer for me. I also like winning, but my favorite part is being part of a team and making memories together.
My coach Rell inspires me to compete in sports because he always tells me to never give up and to keep trying my best. When I make a mistake, he reminds me that I can learn from it and do better next time. He makes me want to work hard, have fun, and be the best player I can be. If I could grow up to be like Shohei Ohtani or Steph Curry, I would be so happy. They both worked really hard to become great at sports, and they never gave up when things got hard.
One moment from sports that makes me really proud is when I ran three touchdowns in my first game of the season. I was so excited every time I got the ball and ran into the end zone. My teammates and coaches were cheering for me, and it made me feel really proud. It showed me that all the practicing and hard work I put in can pay off. I will always remember that game because it made me want to keep working hard and get even better.
