Learn MoreWhat my daughter loves about her sports is the competition, the adrenaline, and the ability to grow in it. My daughter has never quit, she constantly pushes to be her best and I couldn’t be any prouder. She loves making friends and meeting new teammates on and off the court. Whether it’s at practice or a tournament she’s always there ready and eager to get to business.
The people that my daughter inspires the most are her family. Her sister is a huge idol of hers. Every sport her sister has done, she’s followed suite and grown passion for it. Her sister has helped her excel in not just her sports but her education. For years her sister has been a pillar of support and guidance. And now her sister is in her senior year and Aubrei is becoming a freshman. Both are on the volleyball team at their high school and it’s potentially their last year playing together.
For my daughter, this was when she didn’t make the team her 8th grade year. She played for her middle school for 2 years and has been a huge support for all the sports. She does volleyball, archery, and balances both with her travel season volleyball. When she didn’t make the 8th grade team, she was devastated, she put in much effort the summer before running on the track and going to the gym. Now determined, she did everything she could to improve, she’s now the JV setter at her High School.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
