My friends Rylee and Scarlett. They are a few levels higher than me, and they’re always giving me advice and cheering me on. They always make me feel better when I’m sad or frustrated. My old coach Kalina also inspires me. She’s always teaching me to be a better person. She also explained skills in a way I would understand them. She is always pushing me to do my best even if I think I’m not good enough.
I think it’s a moment that happens over and over again. She continues to push herself past the hard things. An example would be the end of last season. She tore ligaments in her ankle weeks before the state meet. She was on crutches and wasn’t allowed to do full practices. She didn’t miss practices, but did what she could safely.She could practice again the week before state.She overcame the obstacle, and earned her highest scores in her current level, and 2nd in the all around.She doesn’t quit.
