What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreLove being part of a team sport after doing competitive gymnastics for 3 years (non competitive for 8 years). I also like that it is a rough and tough sport! Horseback riding requires alot of concentration, core strength and balance which I was able to carry forward from gymnastics.
Dad - he was the one that first convinced me to pick up the lacrosse stick and start passing. Uncle Thor, he was such a good coach to our team this year!
We are proud of her for trying something new and let's be clear lacrosse is no easy sport. It requires endurance, physicality, it is a face paced game. You need to be great on both offense and defense and able to read the play. We are so proud of the work she has put in! From not being able to cradle a ball to scoring goals and catching passes! As for horseback riding, we are proud of her for getting back onto the horse and love that she is loving it!
