I love the community and how friendly most are and how much everyone pushes you to become a better version of yourself physically and mentally.
It's hard to pick one specific moment that makes me proudest. I am just immensely proud of her growth overall over the past 4 years. She stepped outside her comfort zone big-time when she joined roller derby. She's gone from a very tentative, uncertain skater who could barely roll backwards to someone who can easily move from skating backwards, to doing a pirouette on a toe, & land inbounds, all while opposing skaters are trying to knock her out of bounds. She inspires me daily! (Mom)
