For Aurora, the best part of playing is celebrating group successes and growing together with her friends both on and off the field.
Aurora finds her greatest inspiration right next to her on the field—her teammates. She is motivated by watching her friends push through tough practices, overcome mistakes, and celebrate each other's victories. Their shared passion and collective effort inspire her to work even harder and to keep being the voice of encouragement that helps everyone do better.
My proudest moment was watching Aurora face a really difficult challenge on the field and refuse to give up. Instead of getting frustrated, she dug deep, put her incredible work ethic on display, and kept pushing forward while continuing to motivate those around her. Her ability to stay positive and work hard through adversity proved exactly why she is a leader.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
