Cole Matlow his uncle. He came into Austin’s life when he himself was just a 16 year old kid. He quickly became his father figure and as time progressed Austin began calling him his dad. He has shown Austin what it means to be there for someone because you want to be not because you have to be. He has taught him to uphold his word, respect women. He has been a solid support in Austin’s life.
There are many moments but my proudest are when I watch him pick up his opponent after he tackles them , or when he has been tackled to let the player know he has done a good job. Almost every coach he has ever had has said he is the most sportsman like athlete they have ever seen., but my truly proudest moment was when he stood up for the athletic trainer for the opposing team when adults from our side were giving her a horrible time
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
