What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves competing, improving his skills, and being part of a team. Even though he’s one of the smaller players, he uses his speed and quickness to make plays. Hockey is his favorite because he loves skating fast and helping his team. He also enjoys football and lacrosse because they let him work hard, use his speed, and have fun with his teammates.
His father inspires him the most on and off the field. He teaches him to work hard, never give up, and always have a positive attitude. He leads by example and reminds him that being a good teammate and showing respect are just as important as winning.
His proudest moment was receiving the academic award for football. It meant a lot to him because it recognized not only the hard work he puts in on the field, but also the effort he puts into school. He was proud to show that being a good student is just as important as being a good athlete.
