Ava is inspired the most by the people that believe in her, especially when she doesn’t believe in herself. Her Dad & I and her coaches have taught her that success isn’t just about the points you score but about the person you become along the way. The inspire her to work harder, stay humble, support her teammates, never give up when things get difficult.
My proudest moment isn’t necessarily a big win or championship. It was watching her step onto the court during a difficult game kept her composure under pressure and continued encouraging her teammates even when things weren’t going her way. Seeing her fight through adversity, trust her teammates & keep giving her best showed me how much she’s grown not only as a volleyball player but as a person. That is the moment I will always be proudest of.
