Avery inspired by his grandfather, who was a college football player who dreamed of going pro but his dream was derailed by lifechoices and a knee injury. Avery knows that this was the dream of his grandfather, deferred and he is looking to push that legacy forward and accomplish what his grandfather started.
What makes us most proud is Averys leadership on and off the field. Whether it’s taking the initiative to be the leader for the line, or encouraging his teammates to work harder and go further, or sometimes it’s just showing compassion and helping a teammate up and overcome. Avery is always engaged in leading, and it’s beautiful for us as parents to see.
