What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Avery loves playing softball because she loves the sport and meeting new people to help encourage them to do well or help with a struggle.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom helps inspire me on and off the field. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago and she fought to be here with me and to watch me and my brother play. She taught me to go after what I want and help other along the way.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When I see our team win and we all had hand in making the team better
