Join the CompetitionI love learning new skills and seeing what my body can do. It’s literally the BEST feeling when I finally get a skill I’ve been working so hard on! I also love my coaches and being at the gym with my friends. We hype each other up, laugh a lot, and are just happy we get to do what we love together.
Kylee Kvamme and Lauren Supnet inspire me because they both came from Metro just like me and got to represent Team Philippines! 🇵🇭 How cool is that?! I’m super proud to be Filipino-American, and one of my biggest dreams is to make the Philippine National Team someday. I also really want to be a D1 college gymnast. Seeing girls from my gym actually do these things makes me feel like I can too if I keep working hard!
The moment I’m most proud of is overcoming my fears and having my best season ever at Level 5! I learned that being scared doesn’t mean I can’t do something. I just have to keep trying. Becoming team captain made me really proud too because it means I get to hype up my teammates, support them when they’re having a hard day, and be someone they can count on.
