Every rep, every drill, every hour spent practicing has a purpose and for Avyan nothing feels better than seeing it show up in a real game, whether it’s a clean swing, a sharp throw, or a smart play he’s rehearsed a hundred times.
Avyan’s biggest inspiration in baseball is his older brother, Arnav Vega. They talk through their games together, train side by side, and Arnav is always ready with honest, constructive feedback to help Avyan grow. More than anything, Avyan admires his brother’s discipline in every part of the game, whether he’s working out in the gym, training with coaches, or competing on the field. He respects him deeply and looks up to him not just as a sibling, but as a mentor with a wealth of knowledge.
One of the proudest moments for me was watching him play at the PG East Cobb tournament, where he was on fire for the entire series. All his hard work truly showed, played great all week, and I believe that level of play is what fueled his desire to compete at the highest level possible
