I love racing go-karts because it is more than just getting behind the wheel and going fast. When I’m at the track, I feel happy, excited, and proud of what I can do. Racing has taught me that you have to work hard, stay focused, and never give up. I love learning how to make my kart faster and better, & I enjoy spending time in the shop working on it. One of my favorite parts is helping my younger brother get his car ready, too. We work together, learn together, and have fun doing what we love.
My Dad is a huge inspiration, he stops everything to make sure my brother and i can explore our dreams. I’m only 11 years old, and I have big dreams. I want to keep racing, keep learning, and someday see how far I can take this passion. I want to make my family proud and show that if you work hard and never give up on your dreams, you can accomplish amazing things.
One of the moments that makes me proudest isn’t necessarily a win or a trophy. It’s watching him put in the hard work behind the scenes to get his own kart ready and then turn around and help his younger brother prepare his car, too. At only 11 years old, he understands that racing is a team effort. He works hard, stays determined, and takes pride in learning everything he can about his car.
