Receive Text UpdatesHe loves his team mates and the friendships he makes, but most of all, and any one can tell, he loves hockey because he can see 'the game'... the strategy. He loves to help make the plays, not just scoring the goals.
Ayden admires his dad, many athletes and many hockey players. But the one who 'inspires' him most: His Grampie. He played pro hockey too. So any advice Grampie gives... Ayden listens. And you can see Ayden doing what Grampie says next time he is on the ice.
Aydens team was in the finals in a tournament. They were so close. Ayden score a goal, but they lost 2-1. They came second. As his mom, that was the first time I really saw him cry over something he wanted so badly. He was so upset, he said he never wanted to play again. But be cause he loves the game, he of course went back. I was proud because he learned how to lose and how to get back up and try harder.
