Join the CompetitionTrack is more than just a sport to Bailey! it’s something that has helped her grow as a person. She loves the feeling of pushing herself to be faster and stronger every time she practice or compete. Track has taught her that success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes hard work, dedication, and believing in yourself, even when things are difficult.
Bailey says that she is inspired by anyone who tries something for the very first time! It’s not about being the best, it’s about pushing through the nervousness and overcoming your fears of doing something new. Those are the real champions!
Her team put together a 4x400m relay team at the last part of the season. Bailey was the team captain. The girls were nervous and did not want to run. Bailey had a talk with them. Whatever she said inspired them to not only run, but to place 3rd their very first time running a 4x400m. The way she took on the leadership role really made me proud!
